• The students are deputed to present their innovative research matters through research festival like ‘Anveshan’ and ‘Aavishkar’. Efforts are taken to develop research aptitude within the students.
• The college organizes research festival ‘Avishkar’ annually in order to provide the scope for the manifestation of research potential and creativity within the students. Some of the faculty members take special efforts to create research interest within the students; consequently many students participate in ‘Avishkar’ and exhibited their innovative creations. Some of the students are selected for university and state level ‘Avishkar’.
• To prove this, let’s see the case study of one of our student’s journey as a PG student to a state winner, a researcher for Ph.D. One of our M.Com students Mr.Shrikant Pandya has won the State level First Award in the “9^th Maharashtra State Inter University Research Convention –Avishkar 2014” organized by Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Science University, Nagpur on 21-23 January 2015. He got the Avishkar Fellowship of Rs.3,000 per months for 10 months (Rs.30,000) Considering his performance and to reward the researcher, the college selected him as the teacher in the next year 2015-16. The college promoted him for further research and he completed his M.Phil in April 2019. At present, he is a research scholar for Ph.D. under the research supervisor of the college, Dr.Brijmohan Dayma. Now, the scholar is guiding other students in research and allied matters. It is a perfect outcome of our ecosystem meant for research and innovations.
  
  • In 2013, seven teams of UG students for district level research festival.
  • In 2014, three teams of UG and five teams of PG students at district level
  • In 2015-16, four teams of UG students, three teams of PG students and one teacher at district level Avishkar on 5/10/2015. Our two PG students and one teacher had won prize at district level Avishkar-2015.
  • In 2017-18, in research competition at college level on 18/12/2017, 25 students participated in nine teams at district level Avishkar

AVISHKAR RESEARCH FESTIVAL- 2024

1. College Level

On 4^th October, 2023, we have arranged college level ‘Avishkar-2024’ research festival for full day working hours. In the programme, 23 teams under graduate and post graduate level students and three (03) faculty members have participated.  Among these under six (06) categories, eight (08) teams of students were selected as winners and forwarded them further for district level Avishkar competition.

2. District Level

District level ‘Avishkar- 2024’ was held on 23^rd December, 2023 in College of computer Science and Information Technology. Our eight (08) teams of undergraduate and post graduate students were participated in it. Among these, two teams of undergraduate students are winners:

1. Vaishnavi Shewalkar, BCA SY student got first rank from Engineering & Technology category.
2. Vishnu Kamble, BBA TY have got third rank from Commerce & Management category.

3. University Level

On 28^th December, 2023, again our two students have participated ‘University  Level Avishkar Research Festival- 2024’ in MGM’s College of Computer Science & IT, Nanded. Again, Vaishnavi Shewalkar, BCA SY student had bagged first rank from Engineering & Technology category.

4. Maharashtra State Inter-University Research

Our student Vaishnavi Shewalkar, BCA SY particiapated & presented a research project titled “Biometrics” in Engineering & Technology category at UG level in 16^th Aavishkar: Maharashtra State Inter-University Research Convention hosted by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik.
